Overview

Modernisation work on Juniorlogs, a childcare management platform integrated with New Zealand Ministry of Education systems: an Angular application redesign, 38+ resolved defects and integration-sensitive corrections.

Juniorlogs integrates with Ministry of Education systems including Early Learning Information, the National Student Index, funding and staff-hour calculations, and RS7 and ECE returns. Changes carry regulatory consequences.

The challenge

Juniorlogs, the student management system from Mace IT Services, reports into Ministry of Education systems, so every change to the Angular application had to fix what users saw without breaking the regulated integrations behind it.
